Where The Mind Is Without Fear :

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high

Where knowledge is free

Where the world has not been broken up into fragments

By narrow domestic walls

Where words come out from the depth of truth

Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection

Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way

Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit

Where the mind is led forward by thee

Into ever-widening thought and action

Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake

- Rabindranath Tagore

Having fear constantly creeping by door between you and a possible future is such a dreadful feeling. It tells you lies, discouraging you from ever taking a chance.

It tells you that:

You are powerless.

You aren’t good enough,

You aren’t meant for that.

Being the greatest inhibitor to your success, you started to doubt yourself, even on the little things. Nothing seems to work. There you thought, if only I have the courage.

What if I told you, there is courage within you?

When you are drowning in the sea of doubts, with tons of fear pulling you into the depths, what if courage was always there, pulling you up to the surface?

I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
― Nelson Mandela

It always has been. You just can't see it because subconsciously, you are allowing fear to blind your sight on reality.

Reaching this point of life, you have already opened numerous doors, and there are many more in line, waiting for you to open them. Fear makes you hesitate, pushing you away from the possible future, telling you that the door to it is locked. Like a double-edged sword, it makes you imagine all sorts of voices in your head, telling you things that none is true.

Yet, courage is holding on to you, telling you to believe in yourself. That’s the thing, both fear and courage coexist in your heart. Facing life challenges, fear is the one that induces the courage in your heart to take a leap in faith. Being courageous doesn’t mean that you are fearless.

Growth is all about embracing your fears and be bold when you are standing in front of it.

When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change;
at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not yet ready.
The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back. A week is more than enough time for us to decide whether or not to accept our destiny.
― Paulo Coelho

Break out of your comfort zone, try things that fear you!

Experiencing life is all about stretching our capability and not letting our emotions be a wall against achieving greatness and fulfillment.

Thank your fears for its opinions, and have trust in your own strength.

After all, you have done extremely well up to this point, and I think every little achievement you have done counts, don’t you?

So, what is stopping you from taking a step further?
